Baby Face Seeks Professionalism From Fans and Fighters Alike
Watching some of the comments flying around in the MMA community, I'm a little disappointed. I'd like to clear something up. Our opponents aren't "bitches" or "assholes". They're fellow athletes that had the courage, discipline, and dedication it took to enter that ring (trust me fans, it takes a lot). This is a professional pursuit for many of us, not a bar fight we're getting into because "that bitch slept with my boyfriend". I have a lot of admiration for each and every one of my past and future opponents. I have a lot of gratitude to them for getting in that ring/cage/mat with me. Without them, this pursuit would be impossible.

Maureen Riordon Set To Fight!!! July 21 2012
Big news,
It's not easy to find fights for girls that make sense. 90% of the fights we as a club fall through, well, for our terrifying female team anyway.
That being said, we are happy to announce that we have 3 of our female team members fights in the upcoming months.
We were just offed a fight pitting Maureen Baby Face Riordon against Tenika Waldroup on the July 21st Rocky Mountain Bad Boy card.
Maureen is then slated to fight in Canada in September of 2012. I'll post more details as they become clearer.

SAMBO Angel Maureen Riordon is really giving her all to help newest team mate Brittney Elkin prepare for war. Working a complete diet of Sanda, SAMBO, BJJ, Wrestling, Boxing and Fus-Thai Boxing these girls are making headway!
If the WFC can pull it off, Maureen may be back in the cage to fight may 12th along side Brittney!

Round1- Riordon, after taking a one-two from Elkin, ducked in and grabbed a leg. Elkin postured
up and gained top position in the grapple before tagging Riordon with a
forceful strike to the face then standing up and inviting Riordon to stand with
her. After a quick exchange, Riordon managed a clinch and then a takedown
establishing head control with her right hand and striking to the face with her
left. She continued to strike and turn Elkin finally getting the full mount and
letting both fists go. Elkin escaped and the fighters regrouped.
Round 2- Riordon, the aggressor, jabbed her way in as Elkin countered. Both ladies scored with
strikes in the exchange and then clinched. From the clinch, Elkin grabbed
Riordon’s head and twisted her to the mat but Riordon used the momentum of the
throw to reverse. In top position, Riordon dug forceful lefts to Elkin’s ribs.
As Elkin squirmed from the body strikes, Riordon inched her body position
gradually higher and passed Elkin’s guard. From there, Riordon opened up her
ground and pound. Elkin’s only defense was to turn sideways, and the referee
stopped the fight. Time 1:40

Baby Face Maureen Riordon, one of the FusBoxe and Legion MMA Sambo Angels has had an amazing career sinse beginning training in 2010. The up-and-coming MMA superstar has placed Gold in 7 nogi grappling competitions, taken a draw in her first thai fight fought on Muay Thai Mahem on June 25, and won her MMA debut by brutal GNP on July 16. Baby Face is currently scheduled to fight on Aug 12 2011 on RMBB card in Sheridan, Colorado.I am personally very excited to see the growth of this young fighter who the question was asked, Is she the future of female MMA in Colorado?
